The golden hour perfection for an intimate maternity session

I met Sam and Knee at a wedding, and I didn’t even know it at the time. It wasn’t until I was driving back home when I thought to myself how familiar these two new friends looked to me. And then that’s when it clicked. Knee was the best man for one of my wedding clients two years prior to this session. I scrambled through those wedding photos and saw an image of the two of them dancing during the reception. Who knew that two years later they’d ask me to document one of the most precious milestones of their life?

They were getting ready to welcome home a little baby boy who’d join them on this side of earth. And from the very moment Sam and Knee found out they were expecting, their lives changed.
